Curated by Art Weaves, Australia, Gallery Manora, a newly conceptualized, nice arts vacation spot in Bangalore is all set to host its second major exhibition, REVISITED by Bengaluru Physician turned Artist Dr.Seemanthini Desai and Australian Ceramic Sculptor Feyona van Stom, in Bangalore, 4th March to ninth April 2017. Positioned in the guts of city – Indiranagar, the solo exhibition is performed by Sydney based mostly Artwork Weaves, an organization that promotes Australian Ceramic Art around the globe.

REVISITED by Desai and van Stom is a cross-cultural conversation, a contemporary take on the Ajanta’s sculptural varieties and frescoes; their vibrant polychromy and the Divine. It’s additionally an entwined dialogue between two artists, one painting a sculpture and the other sculpting a painting. Collectively they’ve used their private perspectives revealing an intriguing dimensional cross over.

As part of the exhibition, the 2 artists will take us by their artistic journeys, inspirations and work main as much as this exhibition. Feyona van Stom will also conduct a demonstration of ceramic sculptural techniques on 4th March, eleven am begin.

About Dr Seemanthini Desai:

Sydney Based Sculptor, Ceramic Artist, President of the Sculptors Society of Australia.
